YOGA AND MEDITATION PROGRAM



OBJECTIVES

  • To ensure holistic learning/self-development inclusive of body-mind-spirit
  • To increase self-awareness
  • To encourage healthy habits towards being and remaining physically fit and agile.

COVERAGE

Participant will learn

  • how to perform various yogasanas including the Surya-namaskar
  • how to do Pranayama
  • different techniques of meditation
  • to use the above as tools for self-awareness.

METHODOLOGY

Primarily practice. Demonstration then action.

Short discussions to clarify doubts and sharing rounds.
 
 

REQUIREMENTS

A large space and floor mats for each participant.
 
 

DURATION

One session of 45 to 60 minutes per day, five days a week for atleast a month.
 


TEAM BUILDING PROGRAM



OBJECTIVES

  • To develop group cohesiveness
  • To develop skills in listening, communicating, negotiating and problem-solving
  • To encourge caring interpersonal interaction

COVERAGE

  • Patterns of communication
  • Principles of effective team building
  • Problem solving
  • Group trust and group sensitivity

METHODOLGY

Exercises, group tasks and discussions.
 
 

RECOMMENDED FOR

Intra- and inter-departmental teams including the team leaders.
 
 

DURATION

Weekly or fortnightly sessions for a minimum of two hours each over a longish period.
 


STRESS MANAGEMENT



OBJECTIVES

    To discuss and analyse nature and causes of stress

    To discuss and analyse one's own style of strategies for coping with stress

    To help find successful ways of dealing with stress

  • To develop expression of the creativity of the participant
  • To combine fun and creativity with work
  • To uncover dormant creativity

  • Factors affecting creativity
  • Tapping hidden potential
  • Dealing with creativity barriers
  • Exploring expression through theater, creative writing and painting.

METHODOLOGY

Individual and group exercises, discussions and sharing.
 
 

RECOMMENDED FOR

Creative cells/departments.

Weekly or fortnightly sessions for half a day each, or a 2-3 days program.
 


 
 
 

AWARENESS OF EMOTIONS PROGRAM

  • To be able to identify emotions 
  • To become aware of the patterns of one's emotional reactions
  • To be able to use the emotional energy effectively
